- Custom Tag
- Displays the Custom tag box, which allows you to insert special HTML tags into your Web page, and manage a list of custom tags. Use this to insert any newly introduced HTML tags that your version of Web Factory does not yet support (but allows you use, nonetheless). Or, use it to quickly insert any tags that you use frequently with a specific set of properties.
- Type the custom tag you want to insert or add to the list. You need not type the brackets (< >). Or, if you have inserted this tag before, select it from the drop-down list.
- The description field appears below the tag. You may type text here as a reminder to yourself of what the tag does. The description will not appear on the Web page.
- If the tag requires an end tag (</xxx>), select the "requires end tag" check box. Web Factory will insert the end tag after the selected text.
- You can sort the list of tags to appear in the order in which they were created, alphabetically by tag, or alphabetically by description.
- You can modify the tag list as follows. Modifying the list has no effect on tags you have already inserted into the Web page.
- To add a tag, type the complete tag and its description, then click the Add button. This adds the tag to the list for future use, but does NOT insert it on the current Web page.
- To delete a tag from the list, select the tag from the drop-down list, then click the Delete button.
- To delete all tags in the list, click the Delete All button.
- To exit the Custom Tag box, click one of the following buttons:
- Click Insert Tag to insert the selected tag in the Web page and accept any modifications made to the tag list. Clicking OK automatically adds a tag you typed to the list.
- Click Cancel to close the box without inserting a tag and without saving any modifications to the tag list.
- Click Done to save any modifications to the tag list without inserting a tag.
